Victoria Emblem, Logo, Seal, Australia. Victoria was the first Australian state to be granted arms. The coat of arms of Victoria was first adopted in 1910 by King George V and was named after his grandmother Queen Victoria. There are numerous images to represent the state including the constellation of the Southern Cross on the shield, this image is also illustrated on Australias national flag. The motto "Peace and Prosperity" has either side female images of the aphorism. The repetition of the national animal the Red Kangaroo is also present in Victorias coat of arms and holds the Imperial Crown.
