Queensland, Emblem, Logo, Seal, Australia. The coat of arms of Queensland is the oldest and was originally granted in 1893 by Queen Victoria. The coat of arms was later modified and the current arms was adopted in 1977. The motto 'audax et fidelis ' translated from latin means 'Bold but Faithful' There are several images that are illustrated on this coat of arms including the Maltese Cross, the shield itself includes elements of industrial influences which have occured in Queensland since the original coat of arms was established.
