Prague, Karlovo Most, Czechia 2008. (Praha) - Evening View of the Old Bridge of Prague - The Charles Bridge. A famous construction which first commenced in 1357 under the rule of King Charles IV. The bridge was a huge achievement and provided a trading link for western and eastern Europe. The backdrop at night is quite impressive and theatrical and can truly be described as breathtaking. The bridge features an array of statues which illustrate the baroque period.
