There are numerous elements and images illustrated in the arms including a rising sun as the crest, a red cross of St George within the shield along with agricultural illustrations to denote the importance of this industry in New South Wales. The motto is written in latin and states "Orta recens quam pura nites" which translates into English as "Newly risen, how brightly you shine."
