The Pyramid in the front of Louvre, Paris, France. This is a modern construction which elevates 20.6 meters high from the Louvre court. Made from glass and metal substance there are three in total the large one serves as an entrance to the Louvre Museum. Designed by architect I.M.Pei and completed in 1989. Popular culture, the pyramids where featured in the big budget movie Da Vinci Code with Tom Hanks as the lead. The juxtaposition of artistic methods, the use of the old encompassing architecture with the highly modern edifice illuminates at night and looks breathtakingly spectacular.
