Hierapolis Greek theatre, Pamukkale, Turkey. This impressive ancient theatre was built following a devastating earthquake in 2nd BC by the Roman Emperor Hadrians ruling. Elaborate Greco - Roman designs and decorative ornamental pieces can be found in the interior. The theatre itself hosts forts five rows which can occupy approximately 15,000 people. The foundations and material used in this construct is mainly stone and marble.
