Hierapolis, Greek Ancient ruins, Pamukkale, Turkey - N1. This spectacular ancient city Hierapolis "Holy City" is located in Pamukkale. Historics and archaelogists suggest that Hierapolis was founded by King Eumenes II and became part of Rome in 133BC. The city is paved with blocks of limestone and inhabits a fantastic theatre. The Apollo Temple was constructed in the 3rd century A.D.
