Location of the Hampshire County in UK. Hampshire is located in south east England. Renowned for its natural beauty, forests, wildlife, national parks and charming rural villages. An affluent county with two large harbours in Southampton and Portsmouth which are the main business districts. Hampshire has a literary heritage with Jane Austen and Charles Dickens residing here. Historically famous for pig breeding which supplies a large financial income to the economy with the supply of meats. Hampshire has many historical and archaeological sites, landmarks and attractions including Winchester Round Table, a wedding gift to Arthur from Guineveres father which has engraved all 24 knights names around the table and represents equality. Hampshire also has a colourful city life and famous seaside resorts which are popular with local tourists.
