Upon saying farewell to the cove, one can walk back to your car via a walkway to be found to the left of the road. This will take you past some small parcels of land, some of which the National Trust are using to work with local school children in teaching them about growing fruit and vegetables. Walking back this way also takes in the impressive Gunnera plants that grow under the dappled shade of the trees.
