The Flag and the National Emblem (Badge) of the Dominican Republic. The national flag is made up of a white cross which forms four rectangles. The national coats of arms is displayed in the centre with the motto "God, Fatherland, Liberty." The colours individually represent liberty, salvation and blood of heroes to signify the freedom of Dominican Republic.

The coats of arms incorporates an open bible with a gold cross above and ecompassed by the four Dominican flags with two extra spear on the shield. Branches of olive and palm around the shield and a red ribbon with "Republica Dominicana" the blue ribbon at the head denotes the national motto.
