The Flag and the national Emblem (Badge) of the People's Republic of China. A five starred red flag composed by Zeng Liansong and adopted in 1949. The red represents blood- those who died in the revolution, yellow represents the future. The large star is said to symbolize the communist party and the surrounding stars represent the classes all united.
