| Flag, Emblem (Badge), Vietnam.
The Flag and the Emblem (Badge) of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. The Nationalist party flag is said to have influenced the now state flag of Vietnam. The flag has been the flag of united Vietnam since 1976 following the Vietnam war. Designed by Nguyễn Hữu Tiến who stated that the red signified blood and the yellow was "the colour of our race's skin." The five points on the star represented the people.
