The Flag and the Emblem (Badge) of Ukraine. The national anthem is "Ukraine's glory has not yet perished, nor her freedom."
The national flag was first introduced as the symbol for Ukraine in 1918. Cultural and historical events have contributed to the flags appearance as early as christianity using the colours in ceremonies to denote fire and water. The modern flag can be seen flying on Maidan Nezalezhnosti.
