The Flag and the national Emblem (Badge) of the United KIngdom. The "Union Jack" is the flag for Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the national royal banner. The flag has many parts, the red cross of Saint George is located in the centre, the cross of St Patrick in white which overlays the saltire of Saint Andrew. A collective flag incorporating the patron saints. Unlike most flags the Union Jack can be displayed by any individual at any given time.
