Alberta Emblem, Logo, Seal, Canada. The coat of arms od Alberta was originally adopted in 1907 by royal warrant of King Edward VII and was later modified in 1980. The shield itself is featured on the provinces flag. The crest features the official animal of Canada the beaver which adorns St Edwards Crown. The shield is split in three horizontal divisions, St Georges flag is illustrated at the top of the shield denoting the relationship between Canada and England, the other divisions represent the beautiful natural landscape and agricultural activities.
